This is not a typical diet program. While it will include information on things such as macro-nutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates), and micro-nutrients (vitamins & minerals), the series will look at how many other things also affect our health and how we eat. The goal is to empower you, so that you become the expert on your own health and happiness!

The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has her or his own food and lifestyle needs.  So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it doesn’t apply to everyone.  One person’s food is another perso
n’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run.  Working on the principle of bio-individuality, we'll consider your specific needs and supporting positive changes that are based on your unique situation, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for everyone, you will still receive a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs, through self-assessments and practitioner-supported guidelines, you will receive the tools and support to take you to the next level of health and happiness.

The Earth and Water Wellness EAT GREEN Plan focuses on nourishing food and lifestyle choices. Our balanced plan emphasizes the importance of high quality vegetables, fruits, high fiber complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, healthy fats and water. To complete the plan, your daily nourishment should be surrounded by lifestyle factors that create optimal heath: healthy relationships, fulfilling career, physical activity and satisfying hobbies and daily stress management techniques with daily outdoor activities.

The Livin' Lean Lessons are offered as online Courses with guidebooks and audio and video discussions with the option to join group calls through TLLC - The Livin' Lean Community or a Guided Group Program.  You will go through the exact same process you would if we visited in an office, but with the convenience of being able to join the program from anywhereCalls are recorded for downloading and listening to again at a later time.

Small Group Immersion: 16-hour Immersion Program
An Earth and Water Wellness Small Group program allows you to get 1-on-1 attention while sharing the experience with a small group.  The Immersion is usually four 4-hour sessions and includes a meal (lunch or dinner, varies by time).  You can organize your own small group or submit your name to be put on the list for the next scheduled small group immersion.  This is an excellent option for those with time constraints, but looking for the camaraderie from peer group support.

Custom Small Group Immersions No time to commit to a few months worth of classes and programs?  Customize your food therapy experience to your needs by forming a private custom group.  The Dirty Girl Guides will work with your group to customize an immersion into food therapy, including the Livin' Lean Lessons and Kitchen Slim-Down Solutions workshops.  We will design your immersion into a manageable weekend workshop or multi-day event with access to the Community Forum and online lessons.  Ideally, a minimum of 16 hours is requested (Four 4-hour workshops seems to be ideal).  Create your own Food Therapy Immersion and you'll discover how food can make a direct impact on your health -- and how to create simple changes that form the foundation on which to build your new healthy lifestyle.


“Create Your Own” Group with your friends, colleagues, co-workers or family members and host the sessions in the privacy of your own home or community center.  Timeframes and formats are customizable to suit your groups’ needs.                Please inquiry for details


Food Therapy Retreats

The Women's Outdoor Wellness Retreats and Food Therapy Immersions focus on the curriculum within the Livin' Lean Support Series, except we take our learning experiences outdoors!  This is an awesome immersion into the world of self-discovery and renewal.  Not sure about the whole experience?  Not really that holistic and down to earth….that’s ok, because we have accommodations for all comfort levels.  


This is my personal favorite and I think it will be yours, too!
