I love Jane Goodall. No, I do not know her, I have never met her, but she stands for so much of what I believe in and stand for in this world. As an undergraduate student, I took an Anthropology course and fell in love with the courses, earning a minor in Anthropology. It was through these courses that I first came across Ms. Goodall's (Chimpanzees) and Ms. Fossey's (Mountain Gorillas) work. These strong and smart women where my first glimpse into what empowerment looked like - such an awesome example for future conservationists! I have read her recent books Seeds of Hope and Harvest of Hope (see the theme: hope).
Watch this inspiring video from Jane and then watch for upcoming announcements on the Institute's Tea & Transformation Talks, a book club of sorts! (Hint: one of the books below will likely be a featured book in upcoming talks...) A message to humanity from Dr. Jane Goodall
