I view nutrition and wellness as a daily practice; one never really masters it, they practice it. Living well is an experimental experience – changing, evolving and adapting to and recognizing what your body, mind and life need at any given moment and with any given circumstance…

The Earth and Water Wellness Community
People typically join the Earth and Water Wellness community because they are looking for advice on how to eat better, feel better or loose weight; they want to gain an improved outlook and overall health; they usually feel out-of-balance and not quite “right” in body and mind; and many people simply feel overwhelmed, especially when it comes to meal time and they aren't sure where to begin; or they have already tried every "remedy" out there.
Let's make this your last stop-let's explore your nutritional needs and discover what may be preventing you from attaining your goals and finally let's start believing that reaching balance and living a sustainably good life is possible.
Who Gets the Most out of their Adventure?
I want you to have amazing results! I work with people who are ready and willing to make a change…who have struggled with their choices around eating and food, people who are committed to their health and happiness and are ready and trust the process. I notice that the clients that get the most out of the programs have several things in common:
- They understand that the new wellness paradigm includes body-mind work and without a healthy mind, it is very difficult to have a healthy body.
- They understand that becoming more aware of their lifestyle choices and taking positive actions daily creates balanced living .
- They are committed to being healthy in body and mind so that they can enjoy life to its fullest.
- They view being healthy as something that can be fun and that they want to do, rather then have to do.
- They understand that balance and change takes time and sometimes roadblocks come up that we have to work around, but they are committed to the process of changing their food and lifestyle habits.
- They want to be free of their anxieties and fears and are willing to work through the process in order to experience a joyful and satisfying relationship with food and eating.
What is the experience that I want my clients to have?
It’s really quite a simple formula for all of life: Knowledge=Empowered=Freedom=Peace
- I want those that work with me to feel more empowered with knowledge on how to achieve a balanced body, mind and life
- I intend for you to become friends with your body and to reconnect with your brilliance and beauty and to realize that a perfect body is not a requirement for a perfect soul
- I want those that explore with me to make wise and nourishing choices regarding their foods, fitness, and lifestyles without doubts, fears or anxieties.
- I want you all to have peace of mind with food and eating – the ability to move through life with ease, flow and satisfaction – nourishing yourself daily through your actions.
- I want those that I work with to have access to the resources and opportunities that support their growth within a community where people feel safe, accepted and nourished.
I commit to guiding you and teaching you the tips and tools to incorporate into your wellness adventure and I will work with you to develop and implement the most effective program at the level that you are most comfortable with. Together we will develop a plan, put it into action and make you accountable to move you forward on your wellness adventure.
Here's an overview of some actions we will take:
- Take Charge and Commit – Your health and wellness are up to you; we will take a good look at your goals, motivations, and expectations; ensuring that you are in charge of your decision making and actions. We work at discovering what works best for you so that you reach your summit and become your own wellness advocate. I am your guide, but your success is up to you.
- Celebrate Your Success and Accomplishments - The way to more success is celebration of your accomplishments. You will delight in the energy you feel as we celebrate your wins.
- Clear and Complete - Complete the old patterns of self-judgment and criticism and learn how to work through some of the concerns that may be keeping you stuck or preventing balance in your life.
- Change Your Brain Chemistry - Stop the automatic negative thoughts and address brain chemical imbalances and deficiencies.
- Create Delight and Freedom with Food and Well-being - You will release your past food story and baggage you might have been holding onto and create a story that inspires you and aligns with your brightest future; one where you know food is on your side and can be trusted.
How I Intend to Support this Process:
- Give you the recipe with the essential ingredients for a good life of balance; free of pesky toxins; you’ll then discover your own personal blend and know how to make it for yourself!
- Guide you as you develop a solid nutrition and fitness foundation; through resources and wellness support guidelines and recommendations
- Share the information, tools and techniques that will empower you to make the best choices and be ok with yourself and your decisions when on occasion you don’t make the best choices.
- Provide guidelines and information on how to best fuel your body and center your mind; but I will not, however, write you a day to day meal plan that I intend for you to follow verbatim – this is not a realistic and healthy way of developing a solid and balanced relationship with food and eating.
- Provide lifestyle support programs, growth opportunities and learning experiences so that you may "learn to fish" rather than be told to eat fish.
My goal is to guide you on your wellness adventure, but you still have to do the climbing. You will have your map and compass and the “essential” tools you need to take an active role in your health and happiness and start living your good days!
- Show up – and show up expecting to reach your goals.
- Be open to the process and trust yourself
- Reach out to the comminity when necessary
- Complete your "homework" as requested
- Make progress, but not be perfect.
I consider wellness a "practice" very similar to a yoga practice - it is something that is beneficial to do daily. There will always be room for improvement or new moves to learn and adjustments to be made along the way, given the circumstances we find ourselves in - there is NO PERFECTION here; only PRACTICE and PROGRESSION. I am not perfect and I do not request that of you nor do I recommend perfection to be a goal of anyone's. I am here to be your guide and empower you through education and action strategies to help you discover your personal recipe for nourishment for your body, brain and being. |
As your Nutrition Therapist and Lifestyle Coach, I will:
- Assess your nutrition and health history to provide the most beneficial program
- Design a personalized wellness program, targeting the specific needs of your current health status and goals
- Support you as you adjust to your program and help you to build the skills necessary for a lifestyle change
- Educate you on your specific condition and/or on prevention and management protocols
You Will Learn:
- The role of diet, nutrients, exercise and lifestyle as it pertains to your individual health and wellness
- Your individual nutritional status
- Methods to address and correct nutritional imbalances
- How to restore or increase your energy levels and achieve optimal wellness

Remember, nutrition therapy does involve a commitment; this is not a “diet”; it is a way of life. Diets are something that your start and stop - you are choosing to change your eating habits and lifestyle; and change requires a commitment. While we will be making adjustments along the way according to the balancing process, the programs are sustainable and maintainable for life.

If you don’t ever start, you’ll never get there. I went through years of struggle before I was able to find balance. I don’t want you to have to go through all those struggles. I find true joy in exploring the therapeutic benefits of food, fitness and the outdoor world together with others so that they can experience their own exhilaration of discovering their own delicious good life recipe. You will not be alone and together we will build a community of balance, peace and freedom.
