Vertical Yoga - Indoor Rock Climbing Clinic (& dinner!)
Join us for some indoor climbing at Vertical Endeavors in Glendale Heights. Whether you are an experienced climber or have never held a rope before in your life, this Climbing 101 Indoor Clinic is for everyone.
Indoor rock climbing is not only a perfect total body workout, it also increases focus, confidence, self-discipline and teamwork skills - everything an empowered woman needs! This is the perfect opportunity to either try something new or hone your skills in preparation for reaching new heights during future climbing retreats!
This event is for all ages and abilities - don’t let the unknown keep you home! Anyone can excel at climbing; because of the slow, controlled movements involved in climbing, many climbers can continue into their 60’s and 70’s.
We will start with an introduction to rock climbing, followed by light yoga and breathing exercises and then of course, climbing. You will learn the basics of climbing, movement and an overview of the ropes systems, along with plenty of time to climb!
We usually follow up our climbing clinics we some good eats at a local eatery. If you can't make it for climbing, consider joining us for dinner!

Costs -The clinic fee is $15 per clinic paid to Vertical Endeavors and includes all instruction, full gear (harness & shoes) rental and all day pass to the gym (including cardio machines). A signed waiver must be completed prior to climbing - http://verticalendeavors.com/glendaleheights/waivers/
What to bring/wear: • Wear loose comfortable clothing - anything that allows you to move freely. • If you have long hair bring something to tie it back.
